About The Willis

Well, I'm almost 32, and as you may have guessed, I am a web designer. I'm also married, and have the 2 most awesome boys. I've been building websites for about 14 years now, and before that I was majorly into the BBS scene with my Commodore and Amiga's.

Obviously, computers are a major passion in my life, as are music and movies. I've always found a way to blend the three, and digital production certainly makes that easy these days. I've done a number of websites for local bands, and am always interested in setting something up for other local artists and musicians.

Currently, I work in tele-research, though I am looking forward to trying to get back into technical support. Something I am excellent at, and something I actually really enjoy. I'm alson interested in possibly getting into broadcasting. I've hung out at radio stations before, and done a couple of shoutcast stations, and think that it is something I would really enjoy, and could be really good at.

I used to sing in bands, but thats pretty much behind me now I think. I never made the big POP, and frankly, I'm on the wrong side of 30 to believe in those dreams. I enjoy singing, don't get me wrong, but I am just not into this screamo crap they are trying to shove down everyones throats these days. I was always more of a punk rocker, and can face the fact that those days are over now.

So far as movies are concerned, I love movies. Mostly I tend to prefer good sci-fi, and comedy. Action flicks can be ok, but someone needs to tell Steven Seagal it is over, ok. Seriously, he wasn't a very good actor in his "prime", now he is just plain old sad.

Also, I love video games. I don't play anywhere near as many as I used to, but I do love them. I play Kingdom Of Loathing pretty religiously, and my name there is willis, give me a shout.

Also, I find myself falling more in love with web comics every day, I'm starting up my own, but certainly don't expect that to go very far. Check the links section for my favorites.
